In connection with the customer’s transition to agile delivery across business, IT, and support functions Morten is providing advisory through hands-on coaching, teaching and as interim Product Owner. Advising on defining and implementing the clients Portfolio governance model and Portfolio operation. Learning with the client through the initiation and delivery of multiple agile teams, encompassing both operations and development, delivering end-to-end from demand to operations.

As part of the client’s transformation team, Morten advised the client on their project to product transformation and helped them define their case for change. Through interviews, assessments, and analyses, Morten identified areas for improvement and opportunities for implementing a product-centric strategy. Together with the client’s leadership, Morten crafted a comprehensive case for change, highlighting the benefits of transitioning to a product-centric approach and designed a roadmap for the transformation, outlining milestones and resource allocation.
2021-2022 / Global Insurance Company | Agile Transformation Advisor, Trainer, and Leadership Coach
Morten was transformation advisor on the client’s largest development program, involving over 3,000 employees across 29 Agile Release Trains spanning business, development, and operations. While the program utilised agile methods at the team level, it relied on a classic project management model with annual funding and budgeting, lacking continuous prioritisation at the portfolio and program levels. In collaboration with a team of portfolio leaders, Morten designed the global portfolio function, requirements process, demand flow, and prioritisation model, which were subsequently implemented area by area. The program delivered over 10% more value after the first quarter.
2021-2021 / Nordic Insurance Company | Operating Model Advisor and Trainer
Morten spearheaded the development of the client’s target operating model for the technology organisation, aiming to align business and IT around streamlined product areas across three countries. The journey towards the new operating model was executed in an agile manner, enabling employees and leaders to take responsibility for capability development and the prioritisation of areas of focus.

Morten initiated and trained the bank’s first agile team. Leveraging agile methodologies, strong leadership support, and team engagement, we increased employee satisfaction and ownership of the transformation. With the implementation of RPA technology and process improvements, we ensured a quality boost and achieved a 20% growth in cases resolved within deadlines.
2018-2020 / Global Payment Services Company | Agile Transformation Coach and Trainer
Morten played a pivotal role in establishing the agile transformation team in collaboration with the client. Within the transformation team, Morten was responsible for identifying Lean-Agile initiatives and implementing them across two business areas. This involved training over 400 employees in Lean-Agile methods and more than 120 employees in the SAFe framework. Morten also contributed to developing a governance model from portfolio to teams, facilitated several three-month planning iterations, established roadmaps for multiple product areas, and integrated an acquired company into the new ways of working.

Together with a strong leadership team, dedicated employees, and skilled consultants,
Morten led ATP’s agile transformation. The transformation encompassed significant
portions of the administrative business and utilised the SAFe framework for governance,
planning, and dependency management.

During his nearly 15 years as an employee and leader in the largest bank in the Nordics, Morten had the opportunity to enhance data science capabilities for the commercial sector, establish agile contracts, drive core banking system replacements, insource employees from joint ventures, work with offshore development setups, facilitate strategic processes, manage portfolio offices, and much more.
